Shared ground

This weekend was spent – around deaconal duties of course!! – at the new ground for Everton and Liverpool.

I’m not sure either team will be happy with the new facilities, the new Anfield was far too far from the tea tent and Goodison sloped from the ‘play park’ end to the ‘bowling green’ end! Perhaps it is a good job that neither team were happy with the proposed shared use of grounds. Sad to say as well that Mostyn Dragons didn’t make it to the finals!
